Working from home is a dream that many people would love to turn into reality. There
are so many options to choose from and while some are excellent, some are a complete
waste of time. Choose carefully, and you could have the dream – flexible hours, work
where you want, and earn an income.

First, be real with yourself. Just as money doesn’t grow on tress, there are no real get-
rich-quick schemes. There is no such thing as money without work or millions for
working an hour a day on the beach. Ok, maybe for a select few, but don’t anticipate
being one of them. Anyone who actually does attain that usually works pretty hard to get
to that point anyway.

So commit to working hard. Once you’ve done that, you’ll see how easy it is. Remember,
what you’re looking for here is a stable working situation where you get the benefits of
working at home – no commute, your own hours, work wherever you are, make money
doing something you love, and more. You’re not looking for money to grow in your
sleep, you’re looking for a rewarding job and an enjoyable lifestyle.

Now let’s throw out any work from home situation that doesn’t supply this. Let’s analyze
a few options. Let’s take a look at blogging. Blogging requires you write up some posts,
maybe every day maybe not. You need to spend time in the initial phase setting things up,
but after that, you are supposed to watch the proceeds pour in. the problem here is that
very few people actually get to the point where they make real money from their blogs.
You need to get enough people to read and click on your site to make any money, and
this could, and typically does, take years. Further, not so many people will get to that
point. Which means that you’ll put in whatever work you need to, month after month
while you’re waiting and staying at your office job; and it may not pan out. Lastly, even
if you “make it,” you won’t be making that much.

Next let’s tackle traditional sales. Here you have to lay out a ton of money if you want to
have a good selection. You’ll deal with several suppliers to make sure you have what you
need. You’ll find a programmer and web designer and try to get this al together. You may
need to get images and descriptions. I think we are already off of the checklist….

Now let’s look at dropship. Initial costs? Nope (not too much, in any case.) large
selection? Could be huge. Lots of manpower? Maybe, but that’s your dropshipper’s
problem. Lots of time investment? Very little, especially once you’re up and running.
Money-making? Absolutely, and could be right from the start.

If you’re looking to open a home business, dropship might just be your best bet.
